CITY STREETS CLOSE FOR OHIO STATE FAIR
Streets Close
COLUMBUS, July 24, 2009
Several city streets will close in preparation for the 156th Ohio State Fair, which will run from July 29 – Aug. 9, 2009. The streets will close at 7 a.m. on Monday, July 27 and will re-open at 7 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 10.
Streets Closing:
- 17th Avenue from Clara Avenue on the east to Dora Avenue on the west
- Velma Avenue from 17th Avenue on the south to Maynard Avenue on the north
- Korbel Avenue from 17th Avenue on the south to 20th Avenue on the north
- Silver Drive extension
Event Details:
The Ohio State Fair runs from Wednesday, July 29 through Sunday, Aug. 9. Gates will open at 9 a.m. every morning and close at 10 p.m. each night. On Sunday, Aug. 9, gates will close at 8 p.m.
