COLUMBUS, August 05, 2009

With competitions, entertainment, art exhibits, great food and much more, the Ohio State Fair offers a wide variety of exciting options for fairgoers. Tomorrow’s events include:



QFM 96 Fair Attitude Wednesday

Fairgoers will enjoy $5 admission all day.



Foreigner with with special guest Eddie Money

AEP Ohio Concert Series

WCOL Celeste Center, 7 p.m.

With numerous chart-topping hits and albums, Foreigner is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world. With Eddie Money, well known for his smash hit, “Two Tickets to Paradise,” this show is sure to rock your world.



Wild About Monkeys presented by PERC, 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

East of the Cox Fine Arts Center

Renowned baboon trainers Kevin and Martina delight and amaze their audience with fun, educational and family-friendly entertainment featuring baboons, a baby capuchin monkey, parrot and leopard dog.



Youth Organizations

K12/Ohio Virtual Academy Youth Center, 8:45 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Participate in several fun and educational activities like youth scavenger hunts, Grange Fun Craft Creations or building bottle race cars.



El Gleno Grande

Main Street Stage presented by WBWR, 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
This horse comic is sure to bring laughs. Having performed across the globe, this clever act will have you asking for more.



Heartland Cuisine Cooking Demo

Taste of Ohio Café presented by ABN & the BARN, 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Looking for some healthy recipes? Stop by and learn how to make a quick and easy meal that’s good for the whole family.



Belgian Horse Halter Classes

JD Equipment Coliseum presented by 95.5 The Hawk, 8 a.m.

See these animals in action as they display their strength and beauty under the direction of their trainers.



Meijer Summer Mobile Tour

East of the Rhodes Center, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

The Meijer Mobile Virtual Playground is a fully staffed mobile unit featuring an on-site HP photo creations area, Nintendo Wii gaming, Meijer.com kiosks for virtual shopping and Meijer Brand product sampling / demonstrations.



Gates are open from 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.
